As active students in the UConn Sport Business Association, we have organized a Sport Business Conference at the University of Connecticut in which we will provide students from both UConn and other schools around New England a unique opportunity to engage with successful professionals from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise in the sport industry.
This conference will be a full day event and will consist of guest speakers who are professionals in the sport industry, workshops with case studies relevant to various disciplines in the sport industry that are of students’ interests, as well as plentiful networking and internship opportunities. This experience will further advance students' knowledge and skills outside of the traditional classroom setting. We plan to host our first conference on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. We hope to continue this event in the future and make it an annual event on the Storrs campus. It will be open to any student interested in attending.
