CSE 4704 Pizza Folding Problem

Concept Definitions:

Reeb graph: a mathematical object reflecting the evolution of the level sets of a real-valued function on a manifold

A ruling of P is a set of line segments in P with both endpoints on the boundary, whose interiors partition the interior of P where P is a simple polygon in the plane

A ruling is parallel if every pair of segments are parallel

A ruling is Morse if no branch segment contains more than one reflex vertex in its relative interior

Curvature: the degree to which a curve deviates from a straight line, or a curved surface deviates from a plane.

A rectifiable surface is a flat surface

For our project we will use javascript in browser utilizing the D3.js library.
