This final project was created by Karli Vare for DMD 3475 at the University of Connecticut. I chose to create a recipe generator because I love to cook, and I was looking for an easy way to find new recipes.
This project uses the Spoonacular API in order to generate a recipe based on how much time the user has, what type of meal they want, and which flavors they are craving. I also used the Luxon library to get the user’s current time and recommend a meal based on that. Among things I would change, I would have liked to obtain a more high-resolution image of the recipe for my design.
