My project's genunine purpose was for me to explore and start getting my feet wet with the AngularJS library, which was somewhat confusing at first.

The function of the project I built with Angular is to make it easier for fans of the Pokemon franchise to sort through the original 151 monsters. Each pokemon is displayed on it's own tile with an image, its name, and id number. The background color of the tile represents the pokemon's type, which fans will be able to easily recognize. If not, there are labeled buttons (actually they're checkboxes) that visitors can use to filter the pokemon being shown on screen. Once clicked, the button's background color will change to the corresponding color designated to that specific type and only the pokemon with that type are displayed. Pokemon with two different background colors have, as you might've assumed, two types. Clicking the filter button for each of their types will still filter that pokemon as expected. If users want to find a specific pokemon by name, they can type it into the input textbox at the top of the screen. The site is fully responsive.
